This incident resulted in the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people have been arrested in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of several people hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
